So last night we definitely did it, we watched "This Is It" and it was actually pretty amazing. Glad that MJ went out as a genius instead of a creepy weirdo.
I have been hesitant to start any new big projects because I only have a few weeks and change left here and I'm a little tired but it's all good. The place is in tip top shape and it makes me feel good that I have accomplished so much in my time here.
Today, the farrier came and I had to help a little bit with holding the horses and what not. If you didn't know, a farrier is a person who puts horseshoes on. I was incredibly interested in what Glen, the farrier, was doing. It is one of those things that you understand but never really know how much goes into it until you see it, much like horse breeding but trust me, you really don't want to know the half of what goes in to horse breeding. Plus, it was probably the first time I had ever seen a portable anvil pop out of the back of a trailer before. It was pretty cool. I felt like I was the guy from Dirty Jobs.
I have been trying to update my resume and am having trouble with what I should use as my job title for this experience. I currently have Facilities Manager but I am not dead-set on it. I feel like there should be an "and" or something like that. Feedback is much appreciated.
