Sawdust and Rain

Last night it rained. It was wonderful. It hasn't rain here in more than a month and it was needed. Ness left for the hospital this morning for her surgery. She made it through fine and she is in recovery.

Lorena, our Sydney friend, is coming tomorrow. We cleaned up the place and made sure that we got rid of all the cobwebs because she is deathly scared of the funnel-web spider and is convinced that it is out to get her. She google Goornong, where we live, and nothing came up...haha.

I cut down some trees today...well I assisted. It was a nice relaxing day and everything went smoothly.

Ellie, the puppy, ate my flip flop the other day. So needless to say I was a little pissed about it and I let her know that. So on the shopping list is flip flops, along with beer and goons (if you've been keeping up and learning the aussie words of the day, that's wine).

Hillary, my sister (if you didn't know), obviously read my blog because she facebooked me and told me that I looked like Keenan Thompson from SNL (he's black) so she was being silly. I told her that if she were wearing a metallic white wig she would look identical to Lady Gaga...hahahahahahahahah...the tables have turned.

Tomorrow, I think I'll wake up early. Feed up cut up a bunch of trees and fix a fence or two and probably call it a day.
