good times in goornong

so the clinic is over and we had about 40 or so people come in yesterday for Vanessa's birthday party at the Goornong pub. It was a lot of fun. Stephen and I had formed our own little group of young people that were at the clinic and they were the ones we hung out with. After the pub, we came back and Stephen and I taught our little group how to play some American drinking games. I don't know if I have previously said anything about the 17 year old couple that always had their hand all over each other. Well, that was always fun making fun of them and what not. The girl's parents came and I thought it was so awkward that the parents knew that they were sleeping in the same bed and taking showers together. They said several times "Oh I bet they're taking a shower together" weird!!!!

I think its really weird that no matter what country I am in, no matter what city im in, when I say my name is Jeff people assume that my name is Jeffrey...almost everyone has called me Jeffery and I made sure that they knew that that wasnt my name. It drives me crazy. If I say my name is Jeff why do people insist on saying Jeffery when they could just say Jeff.

We went down to the river today and swam. We had salmon and cheese and crackers by the water with champagne...life's good. I'm just going to start finding projects to do to keep me busy all over the farm. I've been getting better at driving manual but Im not confident enough to drive off the farm. Maybe in a few weeks or a month or so. That way I can go on little adventures.
