So two nights ago, Stephen and I went out on the town with Nicole. First, we went over to Nicole's and barely got there because of her horrible directions. When we got there, Nicole had a box on her head and her 17 year old sister and her 16 year old and 15 year old friends were wasted...we were stone cold sober. We played some drinking games and her dad dropped us off at a club. Word to the wise, if youre ever in Bendigo don't wear flip flops when you go out. The giant bouncer, who had a flat head and was definately on steroids...he kind of looked like popeye on steroids, at the club almost wouldn't let us in because we were wearing flip flops. Luckily, he was a lot nicer than he looked and let us in because we were American and we "didn't know better". There was a bar band that was playing and it was pretty awesome because they were playing the most random mix of songs ever. From Blink 182's "Dammit" to Footloose to just about any other cheesy song you could think of.
We ended up going upstairs after a while and it was straight techno, not my favorite but it was fun anyway. We stayed until about 4am then walked possibly to the other side town to get one of Nicole's friend's roommate's car which didn't start. Luckily we were on a hill and rolled the car about 3 to 4 blocks before we called a cab from the gas station where apparently Joe Dirt works...spitting image of him. I couldn't stop laughing. Finally the cab came, we took it to a public pool that was closed because Nicole wanted to swim. By that time it was about 5:30 and the sun was coming up she swam with her friend as stephen and I stayed outside because we decided that we were to old to climb up over barbwire. After about 10 minutes she called her mom who picked us up at around 6am. We went to her house and slept until 12 then went into town.
Stephen and I went to target because he had a $50 gift card. To bad they don't take American gift cards haha. Stephen got the Hangover and we watched it when we got back to the house. I was amazed at the fact that I couldn't stay awake for one of my favorite movies, but i guess we are getting too old for all-nighters. It literally took us an entire day to recover.
Yesterday was Ness's real birthday and Paul and 3 of his kids came over and cooked dinner. We had a really good dinner and Ness's was trying to set up one of her neices with one of Pauls sons. they're 12. It was pretty funny.
I chainsawed a bunch of trees today and of course I ran around like Leatherhead from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I know, really safe but I always have to do it. I also raked for about 4 hours.
Tonight we had dinner with Ed. He just said that he didnt want the last muffin because he was already sweet enough as it is...hahaha. He cracks me up. I will try to get a picture of him and post it.
