So Stephen , I'm sure, is really annoyed with me lately because with my quick wit I have actually been able to use cheesy phrases apply to the given situation. Yesterday, Stephen was waiting for Ness (Vanessa) to help him work a horse and she told me to tell him to wait a second and she would be right there. I found that to be an opportune moment to tell him to "Hold his horses!"...yup! that just happened! I couldn't stop laughing. Then, this morning I opened our fridge and the milk had spilled. I told Stephen and he sounded worried, asking "How'd that happen?" and yup, you guessed it, I came back with the ol' "No use crying over spilled milk" response. It made my morning! Then around noon or so Stephen said "Hey" and yup, you guessed it again. I told him, "Hay is for horses!" that was awesome. What made it even better was that I did it as if I was an announcer at a monster truck rally, you know the guy who is like " SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!!" ...go ahead and try it, right now, say "HAY IS FOR HORSES" with that voice. I bet you'll laugh
On a serious note, I found out that Evan Faram is in Australia as well. He was in Sidney but it was too hard for him to find work so he has moved to a small town. He applied to a donut shop and included a cover letter! hahaha he didnt get the job so he is moving to a small town to be a fruit picker. Random. I think we are going to try and see him at some point.
Ness is going to have surgery on Jan 27 and will be gone for several weeks, so we are getting prepared for that. There will probably be some others that will come stay on the farm and help us out but I'm not sure just yet. Stephen is dying to be in the operating room during the surgery so we might go but the catch is that I have to watch Ness's sisters kids or something like that. Oh well, it will get me out so I can see more of Australia.
I fixed a harrow today... and then attached 11 tires together to go on top of it to drag behind a car to tear up weeds and break up sticks and stuff. I also moved more rocks and made nice pathways to 4 yards. I'll post a picture or a video of the harrow tomorrow so that you won't be completely confused on what I am talking about. I am still trying to take pictures but it gets to be sundown and I have forgotten again. I will try harder tomorrow. Isn't it really sad that I make promises like posting pictures and videos to a blog and i can't keep them. Oh well till tomorrow
