So, today was pretty interesting. I started driving the land cruiser today. It was pretty interesting. I drug the harrow behind the cruiser to rip up all the weeds and what not in one of the paddocks so the horses could go there. It was fun and rewarding seeing how I made the harrow. I also played the longest game of pick up sticks ever...and I won if you were wondering but then again I was the only one playing...
I noticed this the other day but by the end of the day I usually forget all the funny things that have happened. Stephen answers the phone a lot and I laugh so hard when he does because maybe its because of the nonverbal class I took where I learned about convergence or not but stephen tends to try and speak in an Australian accent whenever he answers the office phone. It's is an Emily Dunn-ish version of an Australian accent. I get such a kick out of it.
So, the strangest thing happened to me while I was picking up sticks. A fly flew into my mouth and got stuck in between my two front teeth....I can't say that that has ever happened to me before. The flies here are horrible. Apparently the flies are horrible all around australia but especially worse around horses. They are so persistant, they never go away. Apparently it gets worse in March!!! I can't wait!!
So I was wrong in my last post when I said Evan Faram was in Australia. Turns out another Evan that Stephen knows is here and just another example that Stephen isn't ever listening when we are talking. We literally had a 20 minute conversation about how he was here and I was like "So he gave up on acting" and Stephen said yeah and other stuff. I don't know...i wasn't really paying attention. haha
Here are some pictures like I p
These series of pictures are Stephen and I being goofy. Stephen is pretending that he doesn't realize the steering wheel is on the other side.
Aussie Phrase of the day: (sorry, I come in contact with about 3 people a day on average now so I'm running out of Aussie words)
"How you going?" = How are you doing?
She'll be right = it will be ok
till next time
